Cardiology

Aside from cancers, cardiovascular disease is the second leading cause of death in Hong Kong. Prevention is key, as cardiovascular disease sometimes remains symptomless, leading to “sudden” and unexpected death of patients. At the Adventist Medical Center, our experienced cardiologists provide non-invasive diagnosis services and procedures at our new and well-equipped cardiology examination rooms.

Patients may be referred to the Hong Kong Adventist Hospital for further radiological scan (e.g. CT, MRI or radioisotope scan) or minimally invasive treatment (e.g.: Percutaneous coronary intervention, pacemaker/implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) implantation, structural heart interventions or electrophysiological study and treatment) if necessary, while follow-up consultations will take place at the center. The entire treatment procedure is managed by the same cardiologist, offering our patients consistency in service and care.
