Our experienced respiratory specialists provide professional and comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to adults.

If necessary, patients will be referred to Hong Kong Adventist Hospital – Stubbs Road or Tsuen Wan for further diagnosis and examinations, such as tests for sleep apnoea.

Diagnosis and Treatment

The center provides diagnosis and treatment services for the following conditions:

Unexplained shortness of breath
Prolonged cough lasting over three months, chronic daily sputum, or haemoptysis
Chest pain on breathing
Allergic rhinitis, asthma, late onset asthma or asthma during pregnancy
Occupational respiratory diseases
Abnormal lung shadow on chest X-ray
Sleep apnoea
Pneumonia, bronchiectasis, tuberculosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pulmonary edema
Lung cancer

If further treatment is needed, patients may be referred to Hong Kong Adventist Hospital – Stubbs Road or Tsuen Wan for the following examinations or procedures:

Endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial needle aspiration: an accurate and safe method to diagnose bilateral hilar and mediastinal lymphadenopathy
Endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial biopsy for peripheral lung lesions
Thoracoscopy
Intrathoracic drainage
Ultrasound-guided intrathoracic drainage
Implantation of endobronchial one-way valve for treatment of pneumothorax or emphysema
